How much do wedding flowers cost?

Every single one of our wedding quotes is personally tailored to our couples. Depending on the season, flower choice, what kind of arrangements you're after, whether we are coming back to pack down etc.... there are so many different factors in pricing that it's hard to give a ballpark figure.

If you'd like a quote, enquire with us and we will let you know what works within your budget.

Can you work within my budget?

Absolutely! We'd love to suggest alternative designs to create something beautiful while staying within your budget. You can speak with us at any stage of the planning process to go through different ideas. Please note that for 2026 our starting price is $3000 including flowers and labour.

Can I request specific flowers?

Accepted Answer

Of course! As we work with seasonal, Aussie-grown flowers we will let you know if your desired flowers are able be sourced for your wedding day. We’ll offer the best alternatives if something isn’t available.

Can you replicate a design I found on Pinterest?

We use inspiration photos as a guide but will create something unique that suits your wedding style and the available flowers. We LOVE it when you send our work as inspo!

What happens to the flowers after the wedding?

We absolutely recommend you and your guests taking the flowers home to enjoy! grumpy flowers offers a flower wrap service to create cute posies for guests to easily take them home. We can also provide you with the paper and ribbon for a wrap station if we're not coming back for pack-down.

Do you offer sustainable or foam-free floral arrangements?

Yes! We prioritise eco-friendly practices and can design stunning arrangements without floral foam where we can. Often this means coming back for bump out as we'll need to collect our vessels after use, so keep this in mind.

Do you offer delivery and setup?

Yes! It's part of the whole package. We deliver, set up, and style your florals to ensure they look perfect on the day.
Whether you're only after bouquets + buttonholes, or we're creating your ceremony and reception grumpy flowers has you covered!

Do you have a minimum spend?

grumpy flowers is focuses on providing florals for full scale weddings that include bridal florals, ceremony and reception. Our minimum spend for 2026-27 is $4000. If you're looking for an elopement package, please reach out to see if we can help.

Question 9

What is your payment and booking policy?

Accepted Answer

A 10% booking fee is required to secure your date. Final payments are typically due a few weeks before your wedding. You are welcome to make payments towards your account at any time during the lead up to the big day.

How far in advance should we book in wedding flowers?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking in 6-12 months in advance, especially for sought after seasons like spring. However we can always accommodate shorter timeframes, just shoot through your enquiry to see if we're available!

Where are you located?

The grumpy flowers studio is based in Maraylya, tucked away in the Hawkesbury. We are perfectly located in between Sydney and Blue Mountains wedding venues!

Question 12

What areas do you service?

Accepted Answer

As I'm Hawkesbury based, I am able to service the Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains, Camden/Campbelltown and Sydney areas. I can (and have!) service the Southern Highlands, Central Coast, Hunter Valley & Western NSW with an overnight fee.
